Message Well I was recently laid off (engineer in land development) and thought I would take advantage of the extra time on my hands. The gal friend (laid off as well) and I headed up to Arkansas and wanted to share some photos of the trip.
I was a little nervous about taking "ole yeller" on the 1400 mile round trip because I had just cleaned a lot of the connections in the engine bay.

The trip up there went pretty quick. After passing through Dallas, this Hummer on 24's held a solid 95 mph for an hour or two.

Hot Springs was a neat little town...

The water comes out of the ground at 143 degrees, pretty crazy.

Next, we headed up to Eureka Springs on Highway 7. I knew it was going to go quick after seeing this sign. It was a blast to drive on since I live in Texas and very rarely get to drive on curvy roads.

The girl friend started to get a little heavy with the "lets slow down so we can see the scenery better" and "hey look there are flowers on that curve, someone died there" so we took a little pit stop. (I really was taking it pretty easy and not being dangerous)

Nothing worse than getting stuck here..the truck was going about 15 mph for a few miles until i could make the pass.

Alright into Eureka Springs, I recommend everyone visiting this town at some point. The drive to get there was great and the town is awesome.

Back to Texas, the good ol' flat land lead to a few things..

doh - I have been dreading the 90k mark for a while now, and yes it does take a lot of effort to have the dash this dirty.

dohx2 - 67 in a 55 in Oklahoma, what happens if I forget to pay this and don't go back to the state for 10 years? Just thinking out loud

All in all the car ran great and it was a great drive. Now back to reality and wish my luck in my job search! Thanks for looking.
Zach
